Account information you provide, such as your name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form).

Health & fitness data you enter, including weight, height, age, goals, workouts, meals, calories, water intake, and BMI. This is sensitive information and we process it only to provide the features you use.

Health and activity data. With your permission, N4Life reads your step count from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android), including data recorded by other apps such as Samsung Health. We use it only to show your steps, calories burned and progress inside the app, and we store daily totals in your account so you can see your history. We do not sell this data, do not use it for advertising, and do not share it with third parties except the service providers that host our servers. You can revoke access at any time in your device's Health settings, and you can delete your data by deleting your account.

Usage and device data such as device type, operating system, app interactions, crash logs, and diagnostic information collected automatically to improve performance and reliability.

Communications you send us, such as support requests or messages through our contact form.

We use your information to provide and personalize the service — generating workout and meal plans, powering AI coaching, tracking progress, sending relevant reminders, providing customer support, preventing abuse, and complying with legal obligations. We also use aggregated, non-identifying data to improve our features.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your health data for advertising.

Some features, such as AI coaching and meal suggestions, process the information you provide using AI service providers. Only the data needed to generate a response is sent, and we do not allow these providers to use your data to train their models for their own purposes. AI-generated content is informational and may contain errors.

Where laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests (such as security and improving the service), to comply with legal obligations, and, for health data, on the basis of your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting the relevant data or your account.

We share data only with trusted service providers that help us operate N4Life — such as cloud hosting, analytics, crash reporting, nutrition databases, AI processing, and mobile money payment providers (Zaad, EVC Plus, Sahal). They receive only what is necessary to perform their function and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the service.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records to meet legal, tax, or security obligations. Backups are overwritten on a regular cycle.

We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit and access controls to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to authorized personnel only. You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. You can request full account deletion from within the app or via our Delete Account page. Depending on your region, you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing, data portability, and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority under laws such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA. N4Life is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
